The Loft Dresser is a sharp looking modern dresser with minimalist lines seen in the stilted legs and slim wood pulls that accentuate the beauty of the hardwood grains and add a clean, finished feel to your bedroom space. This dresser is available with six, eight, nine, or ten solid beech dovetailed drawers and is constructed from your choice of American black cherry, rock maple, and black walnut, sustainably harvested from forests in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Vermont.
Each piece of wood from Vermont Furniture Designs is bench-crafted using timeless techniques, such as mortise and tenon joinery and hand sanding. The wood is matched for color and grain and then finished with a natural oil and wax blend, which protects the piece while bring out the color, grain, and depth of the wood and allowing it to age beautifully. Unlike many chemical sealants, this eco-friendly, natural finish does not produce any VOCs.

Mortise-and-tenon joinery has been used for thousands of years to join two pieces of wood at a 90 degree angle. This technique produces joinery that are both neat and strong, while hiding the joints within the timber.
Dovetail Drawer Construction
Vermont Furniture Designs constructs its drawer boxes using solid wood with traditional English dovetail joinery. This technique is simple, beautiful, and time-tested.
Beautiful Continuous Wood Grain
Vermont Furniture Designs uses a single board when constructing drawers on the same level, so there is a continuous, beautiful wood grain across the entire piece.
